Did you hear the theory about this video being a not to The Wizard of Oz/Return of Oz? Forgive me as I’m not a Swiftie but really starting to get into this stuff, but the creator that made a video pointed out that TS has made nods to Oz before in videos. In Return, Dorothy is sent to a mental institution where she undergoes shock therapy, and like in the original, she starts to see the real people as characters in a fantasy. Look up Nurse Wilson, and you’ll see an identical dress to the black one Taylor wears in the office scene. And then of course the headgear she’s wearing in the shock therapy scene makes her look a lot like Glinda the Good Witch. Post is one of the doctors, and he saves her when the machine starts to falter. So! Is this actually who he plays- just a doctor she knew for a fortnight? Did she imagine their entire relationship and is grieving the loss of this doctor she idolized? IMO, yes. Two weeks is a pretty normal amount of time to be sent away to an institution (though that could range from days to years). Anyway, they could also be friendly neighbors, and still have encountered each other in the psych ward. Really interesting stuff! I’ve been a fan of Post’s music for about a decade now, but this video made me fall in love with him.

On my first watch-through of Riverdale I stopped watching midway through season 5 because I just didn't enjoy how far apart Betty and Jughead had grown. However I decided to watch again all the way to the end and I decided to just go along for the ride to see what happened and boy was it insane. I did enjoy it, a lot, it was wild. Towards the end it felt a bit more like the writers wanted to put the characters in a variety of different scenario's that wouldn't otherwise make sense... e.g. What if Archie was a player and tried dating 2 girls at the same time? What if these characters were in horror B-movies? I genuinely enjoyed all of this insanity apart from the amount of singing, the only way you could say the writers failed is that the first 4 seasons of the show were based off the premise: scary horror themes always grounded in reality and small town insular thinking. Then without any warning they depart from this premise and whenever you do that you very much upset the audience you've gained even if the content produced isn't that bad. TL:DR I loved it. But the Betty-Jughead crimesolving duo was what I lvoed most about Riverdale. And FP. FP, very strong character.
